From Voice to Vision

Practical media training that turns a ministry's radio archive into video, with the skills and support to keep doing it.

Format in-person workshop over five days, then six months of consultancy Expected group about 24 participants Delivery Arise Media IT Consultancy Ltd

Why it matters

Radio programmes carry valuable messages and a large archive of material that can be adapted for digital audiences. Through this proposed partnership, Arise Media IT Consultancy Ltd works alongside a partner media team to turn existing audio into accessible, visually engaging video for YouTube, Facebook and other digital channels.

The emphasis is on practical capability, not a presentation of software. Participants learn a repeatable workflow using their own source material, from preparing a radio recording to creating a finished video, adapting it to a platform and planning how to engage with viewers.

What we will do

  1. Radio-to-video production. Convert existing radio recordings, typically around 10 minutes long, into videos of about 10 minutes for YouTube and Facebook. The workflow may include transcription, translation where needed, AI-generated presenters or visuals, photographs and stock footage, subtitles, sound synchronisation and editing.
  2. Multi-platform publishing. Prepare source videos for YouTube and Facebook, then develop short clips or companion content for TikTok, Telegram and WhatsApp. Training also covers titles, thumbnails, descriptions and publishing plans.
  3. Audience engagement and follow-up. Build stronger approaches to digital outreach, social media campaigns, direct-message conversations and thoughtful follow-up for people who want to talk further.
  4. Sustainable team workflows. Clarify responsibilities, review equipment and skills, document a workable production process and help the local team use it independently.

Support beyond the workshop

A five-day workshop introduces the methods; continued practice turns them into a working habit. Under the proposed six-month consultancy arrangement, two Arise Media IT Consultancy Ltd consultants support the team through online coaching, production reviews, publishing guidance and problem-solving.

  • Two online coaching and review calls each month, with practical feedback on video and content work.
  • Help with barriers to implementation, staff workflows, editorial decisions, publishing practices and audience follow-up.
  • Regular progress checks and a gradual shift of day-to-day production to the local team.
  • Up to 20 consultancy hours per week across the two consultants combined, within the agreed scope.

We have recommended considering 12 months of handholding for stronger long-term results. Any extension beyond six months would be a separate decision and agreement.

Optional production project

A separately proposed package would convert up to 16 existing radio programmes into edited videos of about 10 minutes for YouTube and Facebook, over eight weeks at a target of two videos a week. It also lets the local team watch a full production cycle.

It is distinct from the training and the consultancy, and the team can begin learning the workflow without it.

Status. The optional production package is a separate proposal and has not been approved.

Intended results

  • A clear workflow for converting radio audio into usable digital video.
  • Practical examples made from the team's own archive during training.
  • Defined steps for publishing and repackaging material across platforms.
  • Better team coordination around production, review and audience follow-up.
  • Growing local confidence and less dependence on outside production support.

Our approach

We are collaborative. We assess what the team already has, demonstrate a workflow, produce and review examples together, then support the team while responsibility moves step by step to local staff. The aim is a sustainable digital media practice that continues beyond the first workshop.

This project is described from a current proposal. Scope, timing and participation remain subject to confirmation.
